The format for our meetings is to spend a couple of sessions discussing a book and then have an activity (guest speaker, movie, etc.) for our month between books. For November we've planned a "field trip" to visit the Human Genome Center at Washington University. This is planned for Tuesday the 13th at 2:00 p.m.. The tour should last a bit over an hour, after which those who are interested might find a nearby cafe/pub to for some refreshments and discussion. All are welcome to join us, just email to Mark (drew@wustl.edu) or write a comment to this post so we can get a rough headcount. Check back here for more details.

The trip to the gemone lab sounds very interesting but I will be working. Maybe Carol and Milt can fill me in.
